unleash the fury
The weather report said, verbatim, that the oncoming winter weather would "unleash its fury."
I am utterly convinced that weather stations are run by wal mart, and the weather team's creative writing kick is a scheme to induce rampant and mindless shopping sprees in the event of winter desolation. The only consoling aspect to their tales of horrendous outputs of ice and snow accumulation is that they were, unlike the other 99% of the time, correct. Shocking. So here I am. Trapped at home with a comfortable and appreciated flow of heat, chocolate cake, coffee, and plenty of reading materials. The temperature continues to drop into the single digits and I continue to stare out the window thankful that I don't have a reason to leave.
My doggies: Pearl the black shepherd & bagel... the miniature dachshund enjoying the powdery blizzard :)
